Terms of Service

1. Overview

VerifAI ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI detection report service that allows users to check documents against Turnitin's AI detection system. By purchasing and using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service in full.

2. Use of Service

Our service is intended for informational purposes only — to help you understand how your document may be assessed by AI detection tools. You are solely responsible for how you use the information provided in your report.

You must not upload documents that contain illegal content, violate third-party intellectual property rights, or that you do not have the right to share.

3. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. The applicable price and currency are shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes. Payment is required before a report is generated.

4. Refund Policy

We do not offer change-of-mind refunds. This does not limit any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer laws, including a refund where required by law.

If you accidentally purchased a report and have not yet uploaded a document, please open a support ticket in our Discord server. In these cases, we will issue a credit that can be applied to a future report at our discretion.

Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. We reserve the right to decline credit requests that do not meet the above criteria.

If the detection service is down, slow, or unable to complete a check, contact us for assistance. Where appropriate, we may return the check credit to your order so you can upload again at no extra charge. This credit option does not replace any remedy you are entitled to under applicable consumer law.

5. Accuracy Disclaimer

Turnitin's AI detection is not infallible. Reports reflect the output of a third-party tool and should not be treated as definitive proof of AI-generated or human-written content. VerifAI makes no guarantees about the accuracy of results and accepts no liability for decisions made based on report findings.

6. Document Privacy

Uploaded documents are submitted to a third-party processing service solely for the purpose of generating your report. We do not store your documents on our servers. Your document is not added to any plagiarism database. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VerifAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to academic penalties, loss of grades, or any other outcomes.

Who can refer

You must have an existing VerifAI order with a non-zero payment that has not been refunded or disputed. Free orders and orders paid entirely by a discount code do not unlock a referral link. Use the personal link provided with your eligible order or in My Orders.

An entirely new customer, using their own card

The person you refer must be a separate individual who has never previously placed a VerifAI order, including a free, discounted or refunded order. Existing customers do not become eligible by using another email address, identity or card. You cannot refer yourself or create an order in another person's name for your own benefit.

Friends, siblings and other family members may qualify, including people in the same household, if they meet every eligibility requirement. They must use their own email address, make their own purchase, and pay with their own payment card issued in their name. That card must never have been used with VerifAI. Borrowed or shared cards, the referrer's card, and purchases paid for or reimbursed by the referrer to generate rewards are ineligible.

The buyer's email identity and payment method must be new in our order history. We compare order and payment information, including related email identities and card identifiers provided by our payment processor, to check eligibility. If the payment method cannot be verified for these checks, the purchase is not eligible for a referral reward.

Qualifying purchases and reward delivery

While the program is active and rewards are available, an eligible referrer earns one bonus check when an eligible new customer follows their link and completes their first paid purchase of any pack. The normal site sale price is eligible. Free purchases and purchases using discount codes are excluded. The referral does not change the buyer's price.

The bonus is added to the referrer's eligible order after payment confirmation and eligibility checks, with an email linking to the order. It is also accessible through My Orders. No document upload or use of the purchased checks is required. Only the direct referrer earns a reward from that purchase; there are no rewards for referrals made by someone you referred.

Attribution and limits

The buyer must follow the referral link before starting checkout. A valid link may be remembered in that browser for 30 days; a later referral link replaces the earlier one. The referral attached when checkout is created is used for that purchase. Referrals cannot be added retrospectively.

Each referrer can earn up to three lifetime rewards in total, including across linked email identities and shared payment methods. This limit does not reset monthly, and revoked rewards still count toward it. The program also has a limited total reward pool. Eligibility and availability are assessed when payment completes; sharing a link does not reserve a reward. We may pause or end the program for future rewards. Pausing or ending the program does not, by itself, remove already-earned checks.

Fair use, refunds and revocations

Do not create duplicate identities, arrange purchases for yourself through other people, misrepresent the offer, send unsolicited bulk messages, or otherwise manipulate the program. When sharing your link, tell the recipient that you may receive a free check if they make a qualifying purchase.

We may reject or revoke rewards where these eligibility rules are not met or we reasonably identify abuse. Any refund of the qualifying payment through Stripe, including a partial refund, or a payment dispute makes the purchase ineligible and revokes its associated referral reward. Any unused bonus is removed. Returning a check credit within VerifAI, without refunding the payment, does not by itself revoke the referral reward. Revocation of a reward does not replenish the lifetime limits.

Bonus checks have no cash value, cannot be transferred or redeemed for money, and currently have no expiry date. Rejection of a referral alone does not affect the buyer's purchased checks. Nothing in these referral terms limits any non-excludable rights or remedies under applicable consumer law.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
