Terms of Service

1. Overview

VerifAI ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI detection report service that allows users to check documents against Turnitin's AI detection system. By purchasing and using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service in full.

2. Use of Service

Our service is intended for informational purposes only — to help you understand how your document may be assessed by AI detection tools. You are solely responsible for how you use the information provided in your report.

You must not upload documents that contain illegal content, violate third-party intellectual property rights, or that you do not have the right to share.

3. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Payment is required before a report is generated.

4. Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds.

If you accidentally purchased a report and have not yet uploaded a document, please open a support ticket in our Discord server. In these cases, we will issue a credit that can be applied to a future report at our discretion.

Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. We reserve the right to decline credit requests that do not meet the above criteria.

5. Accuracy Disclaimer

Turnitin's AI detection is not infallible. Reports reflect the output of a third-party tool and should not be treated as definitive proof of AI-generated or human-written content. VerifAI makes no guarantees about the accuracy of results and accepts no liability for decisions made based on report findings.

6. Document Privacy

Uploaded documents are submitted to a third-party processing service solely for the purpose of generating your report. We do not store your documents on our servers. Your document is not added to any plagiarism database. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VerifAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to academic penalties, loss of grades, or any other outcomes.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
